Download Fingerprint Software for Windows 7 [Validity Sensor’s]

If you are an End User who wants to install a Windows 7 full featured fingerprint application, proceed as follows.

To enable the same fingerprint sensor features provided under Windows XP or Vista, you will need to install the Windows 7 Validity driver and fingerprint application supplied by your notebook manufacturer. Fingerprint driver and application software are available through your notebook manufacturer's support website or the notebook's recovery disk.

If a Windows 7 driver is not available, download and install Windows Vista or XP driver and fingerprint application from your notebook manufacturer’s support website or the notebook’s recovery disk.

Validity Sensor's Windows 7 Biometric Framework (WBF) software includes a version of DigitalPersona Windows 7 Fingerprint Management application. Installing this software on a system with a supported Validity USB fingerprint sensor will only enable Windows 7 logon functionality. This application does not support web and application passwords.
