I am always try to do something different with wordpress. I do not know php and codeing. Thanks to wordpress Plugin Directory. I was searching for some system though which I can increase user engagement on my blog. I want users registor, commenets, share, invite their friends on my blog and in return I will give rewards. Finally I got a Plugin Cubepint, which is solution of my all questions.
What is Cubepint plugin ?
CubePoints is a point management system for sites running on WordPress. Users can earn virtual credits on your site by posting comments, creating posts, or even by logging in each day. You can give point to your user for commenting, sharing, and in return of that point you can give cash prize, view premium content, access downloads.
How to install and activate CubePoint Plugin for your blog?
Pre requirement: your site must be open for new user registration. If your wordpress site is not open for user registration, go on admin Panel, click on setting tab under the General setting option you see Membership option, and Check the box next to “Anyone can register”. Just below Membership option you see New user default role option, choose option what role you want to give your user. Your wordpress blog now open to new user registration.
Download and install CubePoints plugin on your wordpress blog after that activate your plugin. After activation of CubePoints plugin you can see a new cubepoints option in your Admin area.
How to setup cubepoints system on your wordpress blog?
Click on CubePoints menu on your admin area, it leads to you on Configure page of point system. By default, CubePoints allocates points for commenting, posting, and registration. You can adjust the number of points users earn for these actions.
This plugin have many options, it is a modular system, means it allow wordpress developer to write code for extra modules and features. In Cubepoints menu there are modules option, form where you can active many option according to your need .
You can display points to your user, but it only show to logged in user. Go to Appearance » Widgets and add CubePoints widget to the place where you want to display user points. There is another widget to display top users with most points.
